It's @deancasreversebang posting day! Woo hoo! This is the first of two pieces I submitted to this bang. For this one my art was chosen by the lovely and professional @blackhorsedances, who wrote an epic fic based on my stained glass Cas:

I didn't give a lot of backstory to go off for this piece (maybe a curse or something?), but mostly I had just wanted to draw Cas as stained glass... so I left it quite open to interpretation for the author. I had a great time working with blackhorsedances and I'm so excited to share this fic and art with everyone. Prepare for a an amazing time travel adventure fix-it fic, (including a deep dive into Dean's past) and give it a read!

Oh god, it feels like half an eternity since I last made anything Destiel related, but boy have I missed it!

This year I was dragged into the @deancasreversebang read: very mildly poked) by @aceriee-art and I'm so very grateful to stick my feet into the fandom again.

From "Nah, probably not gonna make anything" I ended up making pieces of art!

And this is the first ya all get to see!

Can’t believe it’s been a year, but it has and it’s time to post @deancasreversebang art again. A big thank you to diamond and saudade for all the hard work behind the scenes. You guys are amazing❤️

For my first piece I went a little spicy and drew Dean all tied up. The piece was claimed by the fabulous @tragidean (LoversAntiquities) who wrote the absolutely lovely story ‘the taming of Dean Winchester’ based on it. It’s hot and sweet, and a beautiful love story about ropes and realization.

It's been a while since I last participated in a destiel fest or bang. Working with my wonderful author teammate @thefandomsinhalor for this year's @deancasreversebang was a great experience. When I created this piece for DCRB, I didn’t expect it to be accompanied by such a beautiful story. You can check out the story here. I hope you enjoy the story as much as I did.

Reverse bangs are the sweetest daydreams and the worst nightmares an artist can have. 😅

What if everyone else’s art is better than mine? What if nobody claims me even if it’s good, and the process just goes on and on, as poor mods are trying to sell the wares nobody is interested in? What if I’m paired with a writer but we don’t vibe together? What if I have zero more ideas for the banner, etc?

Yes.

But what if….

You are already claimed by the time you open your CET timed eyes, and it’s an author you liked and read before, and the story just whooosh appears, and it’s not what you expected but even better?
