Kiwi: what’s something that fascinates you?
Folklore and mythology. I love seeing how the same story gets handed down and retold, how stories survived being shared orally for years before they were written down. How dark fairy tales were before they sanitized for polite society. How we keep retelling the same stories and change them and rewrite them and always want more.
Blackberry: is your life an action film, a comedy, a romantic comedy, or drama?
It’s a mini-series, in which I drink too much tea, stare out of windows a lot and wander around with ink stains on my fingers while. So far it’s been sadly lacking in passionate kisses on the moors and I would like to issue an formal complaint.
