Making friends as an adult is hard

Not like you can just send an invitation card

But I guess I can’t just go through life alone

Although it’s very much in my comfort zone

So I took a chance and put myself out there

And found some friends to dine with in the open air

We talked and laughed over drinks and food

And made plans to travel during Covid’s interlude

We’ve all come here during a strange time

And are all seeking new partners in crime

Maybe making friends isn’t that difficult

We’re all in this together, figuring how to be adults

So i audition for Flat Stanley the musical on Monday and i am like, so nervous! I have never auditioned for a musical before and i have massive stage fright! The only thing that will make this audition easier is the fact that i will be singing "I Just Can't Wait To Be King" from the Lion King :) But besides the fact of being completely nervous, im excited to have a chance in being in a musical :D -Maddie
