HOW DID YOU GET THE IDEA OF ARTISTOON?

During a trip with friends to London in the summer of 2009 for the Notting Hill Carnival, and it was while one of our friends was posing for a caricaturist in Camden that we came up with the idea of a website which could offer the same type of artwork. So it was thanks to this friend that the concept originated.

Après avoir été sur les pentes de la Croix-Rousse à la Sunset Résidence, rue Grenette aux Cordeliers, désormais Artistoon s’installe place Bellecour dans les locaux de l’incubateur Boost in Lyon. En plein cœur sur la plus grande place de Lyon et la cinquième de France d’après Wikipedia. Nous y découvrons également qu’avant de s’appeler Place Bellecour, elle s’appelait auparavant : Bella curtis, Place Royale, Place Louis-le-Grand, Place de la Fédération, Place de l’Égalité, Place Bonaparte, Place Napoléon. On y trouve la célèbre statue de Louis XIV réalisée par le sculpteur lyonnais Lemot.
