Happy Art Monday A few weeks ago, just before my two-week break, I shared a video of some line art without context. Today I'm back with this new video featuring more colors! It's still a work in progress, and I estimate I'm about 1/3 of the way through This drawing is titled "Night Terrors," named after a chapter of a story I wrote 10 years ago. It is set in the X-Men movie universe right after "Days of Future Past," and, as you can see, it features Logan Holwett. Shocker: I never finished the story, even though I only have two chapters left! After watching Deadpool 3 for my birthday, last august, and seeing all the fan art and fan fiction about Wolvie (and finding some amazing pose references), I felt inspired to illustrate one of the most strong moment of the story. I might revisit it in the future to finish it and improve it, as my writing style evolved since then. See you next Monday

an #ArtMonday moment #Repost @hoodhealinghoodoo ・・・ ⚡SILENCE⚡ It can be louder than words. Have you ever practiced a vow of silence? Now why would one ever want to do that 🤔 one thing I can say is that it helps to awaken one's awareness. Many of us, daily, don't think twice before we speak or consider whatever we discuss to be very important or NEEDED to be said... yet we say them. We put words and things into the existence "just because". We are in a trance most of the day; not paying attention to detail, far too busy living in the Past and the Future to do so! Most of us are not TRULY Present.. we are not HERE in the NOW. Instead of soaking in the right now.. we are focused on whatever technicality that has to be dealt with in order to quickly get to the next destination. And this is how we live.. every.. day. By improving our awareness, we bring ourselves to the Present. A private Vow of Silence (where you remove yourself from the Public) or a public Vow of Silence (where you are not isolated) can be done as you choose. With a private vow; your communication may be limited or cut off, with phones and devices turned off - you can revert inwards and look closely at yourself, your emotions and address what comes pouring out in this process. By not speaking, you become more observant during this time period. Personally, I felt a release of not having to constantly have this sort of narrative at all times and my energy was more preserved because it wasn't spent having random small talk or meaningless conversations (for lack of better words). I was able to see and feel others A LOT more than usual and without interfering with what they had to say. It was also interesting to observe others not used to having a listening ear, and observing how patient or impatient others were when they realized they had to lead a conversation or talk about themselves/their day. I became more present in my physical body. I no longer had to give excess energy to making other people feel comfortable by speaking (I do this a lot lmao), my listening got deeper + I watched my actions more. Happy Art Monday, guys!

So, yeah, as I told you last week, I had a lot on my plate again, but I found some time to continue this project. Here’s another WiP for you.

This week, I only have one appointment so, unless something comes up last minute, "Night Terrors" should be done—or very close—by next Monday.

On another note, I'm completely back on my meds with the proper dosage since this morning. I'm hoping everything will be alright this time.

Hello 👋 Here is your Art Monday Update! Last week, I began a new drawing featuring my FF14 character, Melody, and her favorite Scion on a well-deserved sightseeing trip after saving the world from an apocalypse. I posted a work-in-progress montage showing the process so far. This week, I'm sharing a 20-second time-lapse video of Melody's full creation! While the quality isn't perfect (Clip Studio, why are you doing this to me? 😭), I hope it still captures the effort. The entire process took about 28 hours. I'm also almost done with the second character, though I'm wrestling with the shadows on his face. He should be done next week!

Happy Art Monday! This week, I’ve been busy working on the first batch of Proud Ships stickers. I'm excited to announce that thanks to my sister's advice, I’ve also opened a Redbubble shop for those who prefer to receive their stickers in the mail instead of printing them themselves. You can now get these colorful ships as magnets and badges too! (As usual you'll find all my links here) These stickers and magnets are a great way to show your colors or support as we sail towards a better world. Additionally, I’ve reworked the weird cats stickers and added them to Redbubble. Stay tuned for more updates, including the addition of last December's Christmas stickers and more Proud Ships coming to the shop!
