Reflecting on how Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss. I invited visitors to leave kiss marks on bits of Mylar, that I could collage onto a portrait face of Jesus. How to paint that portrait? It was always shifting in age, personality, race... gradually the kisses covered much of the face. Are they kisses of adoration or betrayal? • This was at Art of the Cross in 2015.
