“On this quiet and sacred day of Holy Saturday, we find ourselves in a space between sorrow and hope, between darkness and light. It is a day that teaches us how to wait—patiently, silently, and faithfully. After the pain of the cross on Good Friday, today feels still, almost empty. Yet in that stillness, something powerful is happening.
Holy Saturday reminds us that not all of God’s work is visible. There are moments in our lives when everything seems uncertain, when prayers feel unanswered, and when hope seems distant. This day speaks directly into those moments. It tells us that even in the silence, God is present. Even in the waiting, He is working.
The disciples once felt lost and afraid on this very day. Their Savior was gone, their hearts were heavy, and their future seemed unclear. But what they didn’t yet understand was that this was not the end of the story. Beneath the surface, beyond what they could see, God was preparing the greatest victory—resurrection, renewal, and life.
And so today, we are invited to trust in that same promise.
If you are carrying burdens, doubts, or pain, let Holy Saturday be a gentle reminder: just because you cannot see the answer yet does not mean it isn’t coming. Just because things feel still does not mean God is absent. Sometimes, the most meaningful transformations happen in the quiet, hidden places of our lives.
This is a day to rest in faith. To surrender control. To believe that God is moving, even when everything feels still.
Hold on to hope. Stay rooted in faith. Trust in the unseen.
Because just as the silence of Holy Saturday gave way to the joy of Easter morning, your waiting will not last forever. Light will come. Joy will rise. And new life will begin again. 🙏✨”

GOOD FRIDAY 2026
Good Friday
At the Foot of the Cross
The Crucifixion
[25] Now there stood by the cross of Jesus, his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalen. [26] When Jesus therefore had seen his mother and the disciple standing whom he loved, he saith to his mother: Woman, behold thy son. [27] After that, he saith to the disciple: Behold thy mother. And from that hour, the disciple took her to his own. (John 19:25-27)

After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!”
Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth.
So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
John 19:28-30 (NKJV)
