Here it is. Finally! 'Prayer for England', created for the forthcoming St George's Day (on April 23rd). This is the third artwork I've done since November celebrating the British Isles - I previously did a Prayer for Scotland and a Prayer for Cymru (I still need to do one for Ireland). Been working on an upgrade of my 'Prayer for Scotland' (St Andrew's Day's coming up at the end of the month). I have a question: do I leave the border as it is - white on blue - or do I colour the knotwork (see 2nd image for example) 1.purple 2. green 3. a combination If I do a combination I might do a mix of earthy colours to reflect the ben, muir and glen in the poem.
