Opinion on;

Character in general: There are undoubtedly a lot of mutants muses around, but not exactly are they like Luhan. He lives in the past, physically and mentally - he adorns himself with what is now vintage things and keeps himself locked in the forever history. He, of course, has intentions to learn about the present and is willing to do so - and that is so darn cute. Could you just imagine a grandfather (?) character trying to learn about all the new "hip" things that are now in the world? Yes, it's just adorable. He's had a past, but he's strong & is willing to help others.

How they play them: THE WRITING THOUGH. I don't caps lock, okay, but when I do, it's serious business. The writing really helps the other mun & the character relate to Luhan. It's elaborate, ornate, and just simply flawless. Writing with them makes me really inspired and it wants me to keep writing to become like them - if that makes any sense. I am also really excited about the plot between Luhan & Fujioka twins. You'll be blown away by how cute & angsty it can be = u = b

The Mun: A sweetheart. Done, done & done. If you want to fangirl, she'll fangirl with you. If you want to cry, she'll cry with you. If you want to plot, then yes. She'll plot with you. Isn't that enough of a reason to love the mun?

What is my;

Overall Opinion: Luhan isn't a typical mutant that is out to "save the world". Yes, he has some overlapping morals like other characters (but that's inevitable), but he has a clear cut line of what he wants to do. Write with him & build a relationship with him - I promise that you won't regret it.

Character in general: We haven’t interacted with our muses yet, but I’ve skimmed the biography (no worries, I’ll read it fully later) and I have to say that I’m impressed with the use of a timeline. It’s unusual to see (from my own experience) and it’s creative. Well done. It’s nice to see a Luhan face claim that appears in-depth.How they play them: It seems that you pore a lot of effort (perhaps you don’t think so, but it is apparent in what I have seen) into your writing skills, and it would be lovely to partake in a plot with you muse and Luka.The Mun: I’m afraid we haven’t spoken. All this can be changed, though.^^

Overall Opinion: Seemingly well done muse, and improvement points will likely become prominent when we do roleplay. Until then, I can’t really make something up that sounds like it should go here. Heh. Well done, in the meantime.

Character in general: yokoyama naoki is an oc muse using luhan as a face claim -- he's half chinese and half japanese, and a mutant. he was used back in the days of world war ii as a tool to ' preserve history ' -- in other words, to capture the scenes of battles won by japanese government as a means of survival. he's a character who's seen hell in the form of war, and it's written in such a way that doesn't romanticize at all. you can just see it. unfortunately, he was discovered to be half chinese and sealed into a photograph, only to be released years later into the modern world with his mutation still intact. How they play them: i haven't followed many oc's ( mostly because i don't find them around as much? ) so i've been interested in seeing how things would go with this muse, especially since he's such an extensive character with an interesting, history -rich background. i like how things have been tied in mutant and history wise -- it's nice to see a timeline of events so those who interact will be able to refer to past events in naoki's life easily. i personally enjoy the sentence structure and the description -- even with something so short as a few sentences, it's very to the point and doesn't beat around the bush. i've currently only seen short little intros and meme replies so that might change when i see longer para / script threads, but for now i'm enjoying the crystal clear reading.The Mun: we haven't talked much, though we are plotting so i'm sure that will change with a little more back and forth --. i've seen the way the typist acts on the dash with ooc anons and what not though, and they seem extremely funny and witty ! i tend to lurk around a lot and read through a lot of things that people post personally -- and even if i don't often respond or what not, i learn a little more about muns that way? idk. i really enjoy their interactions ooc because they come off as both playful / energetic as well as helpful (( i think i read before that they ran a help blog once? ; u ; )) i also think it's really cool that they post welcome / intro starters for everyone who follows them -- it makes them seem all that much more open to rp, which is what we're all here for ! all in all, definitely someone friendly and approachable !

Overall Opinion: all in all, naoki is well put together by a funny and charismatic typist. i'm looking forward to interacting with him ! <:

38. “Is there anything you need?”

Shelves upon shelves stood tall, harbouring tiny little companions of the literary arts— a mixture of paper and ink splattered across a much too crowded store. But Ryuu found it peaceful, despite the books that were sprawled across the floor that made it too hard to walk; and despite the busy chatter of the workers and customers that all intertwined as one. It was nice, and it almost smelled like home.

He could faintly remember the books that lined the walls in his old house, the dismal memory of it all sent nostalgia shooting up his spine and he swore it almost hurt. Had he known what that really meant.

Due to the fact that he, more than often, tended to stick around familiar places without having to remember distinct qualities or names or faces— Ryuu always found himself wandering back to this one bookstore in particular. There were always new faces that looked back at him when he stepped through the doors, different workers for different days, different customers for different sections of the works. There was nothing to forget.

And it was intriguing to him, to be able to learn not only about the world around him through the books he read, but through the people he encountered. The girls with their nose stuck into the pages of a popular romance novel, or the ones with their nose held high as they rifled through business and history sections. What people read always told him more than they could possibly ever tell to him themselves.

Today he met someone new, someone with a familiar face and soft facial features and a name he had long forgotten. Despite their brief meeting and quick exchange of formalities, Ryuu could not recall his name. And he didn’t want to ask. He wouldn’t have understood, he had just introduced himself seconds before anyway. The stranger might have taken it as him not listening or simply being careless. But he was just forgetful, and a little broken.

Ryuu hoped he wouldn’t be bumping into the other more than once, that maybe they would brush shoulders and exchange glances then go off on their way once more. But this was the fourth time already, and he wondered what exactly the other was doing walking around such a tiny bookstore with not a single book in hand. Was he looking for something of his own?

"Is there anything you need?" Ryuu piped up, eyes flickering from the males empty hands before settling on his visage. "I know the bookstore pretty well— if you were looking for a certain genre or something." He nodded once, head tilted to the side in confusion. He’s just about to speak up again, to rifle through the memories he has of walking around the store for hours on end— and then his mind flickers once and he has to blink the white haze from his peripheral. Glancing around to get a better look at his surroundings, confusion sweeps across his face before he turns back to the other. "Is there anything you need?" He asks once more, a frown tugging down on the corners of his lips as his eyebrows furrow. And this time he asks because he’s not so sure why a stranger is looking at him like he knows him.

Tear marks could be barely be made out on his beaten-bruised face. Or was it droplets of cold sweat, he couldn't make it out either as he looked himself over at the mirror that was set in front of him. Great.

The desperate knocks on the door only got louder, harder and rung in his ears all the more, but he didn't want to face him. No. Not like this, in this disgusting state. What would the other think of him? He was an ugly mess. Afterall, that's what 'they' told him. "...N-Never, I won't come out. I can't."
