➡️Scroll to see final. I know I’m posting a ton today but because I do love seeing the process of other artists, I wanted to share how I plot my own work. As you can see, it’s pretty loose. I add and make decisions about detail as I go. My degree is in Graphic Design, though I wanted to go to school for illustration and the school I was given an OVR grant for only offered Graphic Design. I got terrible grades in planning- there’s a reason for that. When working with a client you’ve got to be able to show them a clear representation of the final product early on and I just suck at that. So, I am planning to make a new Portland piece that has some key icons in it that I haven’t depicted yet! Gotta stay tuned to find out what/why/and maybe who! ☺️ While I make this piece, I want to create a video showing my photomontage making process so I have an awesome friend that is going to follow me around filming me while I work.
