"SNOWDROP" #inktober2019 Day 11/31 I actually drew this one on the right day last week, but had another drawing to post first. This one was for the prompt "snow", and the idea is courtesy of my lovely boyfriend. I brainstorm ideas with him every so often and he always has really useful inputs! Even though he does find my work strange 😁 I'm behind quite a few days now, but I'm taking it easy because of the pain in my wrist and shoulder. I also have other things I need to prioritise. Another hand :) I'm enjoying using watercolour as an underlayer, and doing the refining work with gouache at the moment, and I feel like I'm slowly finding a technique that feels good. Doing smaller pieces has been incredibly beneficial to my practice, as well as my mental health lately, and I'm excited to paint the next few designs! I hope you are all well lovely people. Over here, it's sunny, and although the week has been rough so far, the sun and my loved ones are soothing some of my inner turmoils, and I am very thankful for that.
