HOPKINSVILLE GOBLIN
Day 2: Scurry
~~•~~
The Hopkinsville Goblin is a cryptid first reported in 1955 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. It’s the originator of the term “little green men” in popular media.
There is a special magic about groups of things and beings, and it often helps me solve the problem of which pose to decide for, if I can just as well use all the poses/costumes/whathaveyou that I liked from the sketch stage. Here I played with the flock of ravens (the "conspiracy of ravens" - we don't have such cool plural nouns in German, I find them amazing) by adding a white one, like the mythological raven had been white before it became the bearer of bad news and was therefore made black as as sign of sadness coming. I really like the paint edges I got out of this ink wash painting. The original is for sale in my Etsy shop for 50€, including shipping: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1091716539/dark-ink-painting-of-a-conspiracy-of
