Multimedia Political Street Art
The Shiftings Struggle' by Khaya Witboo is Poignant
The Worldart artist Khaya Witboo brings viewers an art series that is full of powerful political messages combined with street art elements that will amaze many individuals. These political messages are targeted at the African sphere and their political leaders using oil and spray paint on canvas. The series incorporates artists like Banksy and Andy Warhol elements into its mixed media, and makes the artwork even more interesting. Using various colors while mainly highlighting orange and browns, the series uses South African President Jacob Zuma and other politicians and celebrities in various sections of the portraits. Mixing all these political leaders with very creative elements makes this series unique. Khaya’s series was featured at Worldart recently and some of the artworks are still available on request.
