Come to join @c_r_pearson who@will be displaying his sculptures at ‘Stages of Life’ Private view: 6pm to 10pm, Thursday 28th February 2019 Exhibition dates: 9am to 7pm, Friday 1st to Thursday 13th March 2019 In this immersive visual art experience, the audience is taken on a journey through the ‘stages of life’. A contemporary exhibition exploring a personal understanding of the subject of life, growth, ageing and death. Resulting in various literal, as well as conceptual, interpretations of this theme. This cutting-edge exhibition is set in the beautiful grounds of Harrow Arts Centre, an old travellers' school dating back to the 1850s, offering images of something out of the Harry Potter world. Amongst others, alumni and students from the Royal College of Art and Central Saint Martins are taking over HAC to challenge one’s experience of a traditional art show and tackle the subject of life itself. Curated by Anna Kolosova & Steffania Żołędowska. This will involve special screenings, interactive art and a performance art programme curated by Jakob Buraczewski and his RCA colleagues: Hanna Mary, Noe Iwai, Lisa Marie Hennig-Olsen, Anna Frijstein, Tianqi Liu, Alex Donaghy, Kelvin Atmadibrata and Songkun Wan. With special guests including Paula Fitzsimons, an established artist working with researching performance, its politics and meanings, and Nigel Rolfe, who works in the moment from then until now, figure of history and the contemporary, still seeking to extend the possibilities of making images live. . . . . . #alterus #artscollective #londoncollective #arts #sculpture #journey #csm #rca #stages #life #travel #contemporaryarts #londonart #collective (at Harrow Arts Centre) https://www.instagram.com/p/BuH5sMzhDgZ/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1onu9thfa3t33
