This is the moment - come learn and share as ArtsMonth launches Monday, April 3 with a focus on the regional role and impact of arts and culture, starting with a cross-sector Town Hall meeting.
The focus of the Town Hall Meeting is the political moment we’re facing and what’s happening at the local level. Featuring a range of speakers representing different sectors (immigration, health care, women's rights, LGBTQ rights), the goal is to engage artists and arts professionals in local opportunities and coalitions in which to demonstrate their civic engagement and cross-sector collaboration on the issues and challenges we face.
Where: Aratani Theatre, Japanese American Cultural and Community Center, 244 S San Pedro St, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
