I remember that one time I ran into someone on TT basically using Charliebot as serious evidence of what Charlotte would be like (albeit in a lighthearted manner) and I commented my confusion, and they basically said 'I see where you're coming from, but she IS Charlotte to me'.

And like, I respect it... but the way they said it implied that the canon was what made them believe that. And... that's the opposite of what canon says. Charlie IS Charlie, she's NOT Charlotte. She's spiritual energy housed inside a shell alongside an AI, both of which could have been and probably were influenced by Henry's dreams of what Charlotte would have grown up to be. She's not at all, as an entity, influenced by the real Charlotte. Just Henry's emotions and her AI.

Discovered the MurgosBeard channel two days ago and am catching up on the trailers and such through his videos... since I discovered that in order to watch the gameplay demo, I had to give age verification... and fuck that shit. I figured it'd probably be the same for a lot of the others, so I just decided to watch his breakdown videos instead. I'm getting very excited (that's an understatement but I don't currently have the presence of mind nor the vocabulary to accurately convey my excitement (curse POTS brain fog)).

I'm working on a yandere movie Michael request and it got me thinking. I'm just gonna say that the way I envision yandere and/or stalker movie Michael is more 'Every Step You Take' than he is 'Hey There Delilah' (just the two stalker songs I can think of off the top of my head).

I keep getting reminded that Pinterest is a cesspit, because what do you mean I'm being told that I'm weird for defending a teenager who made a sexual joke about a fictional teenager?

Far from the first time that I've been on the receiving end of a wild take, but holy cow! For context, the joke was made by a teenager on Pinterest about Kris Deltarune. A fictional teenager. I'm... essentially being told that it's bad for a teen to... do what teens have been doing for decades.

I'm honestly not sure what to say. They're acting as if because Kris is fictional, they have some sort of 'protected' status and thus, it doesn't matter if you yourself are a teenager, making any kind of sexually charged comment about them makes you a weirdo (because Kris is underage). And anyone who defends you is a weirdo.

I am completely and utterly baffled. The joke wasn't even explicit or detailed, just a joking 'they can still get cracked'. I have read much, much worse from teenagers in relation to fictional teenagers. I've read DIABOLICAL comments and seen no backlash. This is tame. I've never been one to use 'snowflake' unironically, but... I'm close to it with this case.

People really need to stop saying that the FNaF continuities are separate canons that do not affect each other. The trilogy was all we had on William for a long time. All of the books have been used to try out ideas prior to putting those ideas in the games. All continuities share similar characterizations and more or less the same basic building block events. I'm too tired to go any deeper into it, but these things very much have meaning to each other and influence each other.
