oh, please do!! I highly recommend those! The super fun host and her gorgeous curly hair alone is like a highlight! They’ve even recently posted some videos going into more things of each era. I’ve been loving those!!

God no. If you ignore it it gets worse. Just keep writing it out even if it's the same stuff over and over until it's ok.

That is very true but sometimes I can get the feeling to pass. It’s only angsty for one pairing, all other characters and pairings that I feel inspired to write for are positive/happy/emotions that aren’t angsty and sad. I have no problem writing for those except this is a pairing I’ve been wanting to write for awhile and the thought of anything I write for that is just pure angst is... well. Yeah.

At the same time, you are right, it does get worse, but I can’t stand the idea of writing the same thing over and over. Indulging in the emotion as I write in it however feels more cathartic and probably better. But I guess just writing a lot of angst until it all comes out is good advice.

(I honestly, as I’ve written in the tags of the post, just don’t want to write this angst and just keep feeling even more sad because of the content of the angsty stuff I want to write. I guess that’s all. But if I have to be more sad in order to not have an angsty muse then... I guess I just have to endure it.)

Agreed. I love the hawkeye comics too! I ADORE David Aja's artwork.

YES ngl i have taken a lot of inspiration from him, for me his interpretation of clint is classic hawkeye. but oh god Perez’s new hawkeye is just AMAZING especially the flashback sequences of the circus. his use of colour is surreal.

Yay! But to keep engaged don't not draw fan art just incorporate fan art INTO those practices. Draw your characters you love in different styles. As a bowl of really weird fruit. Dancing so you get gestures! You don't have to be serious to learn!

Hahaha it would be most interesting to see fav characters as a bowl of weird fruit. Yeah, i understand that learning should be fun in its own way, but i feel like ive only been having too much fun (where im not actually practicing) instead of being serious. But i agree, i should try to find a nice mix of the two when practicing. thanks for the advice!

I worked at Payless as my first job and this was back in the day when the song Closing Time by Semisonic was popular and when we closed we would blast that as loud as we could from the back room.

Ahaha omg excellent. I’m p sure I’ve heard that play at closing times in some stores because I remember wondering if it was a coincidence or not lol. probably not!
