Trying out filters and footage in the background
Wip of my animation made entirely on procreate, very boring compared to hand drawn..
This is a video I made for a friend who is releasing beats and instrumentals through the name Goldielocks. It is all footage from my favourite BBC documentary, Human Planet.
What I think makes Human Planet so good is the way it is shot. Every shot is so engrossing and interesting to look at that it provides an abundance of material to edit together. For this video I tried to take all that I had learnt from last semester in my Hybrid class and present a scaled-back, more controlled use of filters and effects. The resulting video is still very full on and chaotic, but I believe I did a better job with not overwhelming the eye, and connecting the audio and video as one coherent piece.
