This one was really cute and I thought it was really fun to write since I work in clothing retail myself, I hope you like the read!🌈 🌸 🌈 Anon asks: I've been wanting to go to the mall with friends but Miss Rona says no. What if, Syo and reader go to the mall together and get hyped about a big sale in their favorite store? Thanks! (Stay inside and be safe y'all!) It all started out as a date to the cinema at the Big City mall, well, that’s what Syo thought anyway. He just loves hanging out with you on days like this. Hyuga-sensei’s new movie had just released and of course, he’d starred in it yet again. Syo wasn’t allowed to take you to the premiering event so a date it was! At least he got time to spend with his favourite person. “You remember how it went right? Like *BAM!!* and *KAPOW!*” He was recalling his favourite part of the movie while throwing his fists in the air. “Syo! You’re going to make a scene!” you exclaimed as you tried to calm him down, giggling. You could see he was super worked up from re-living the moment. In all the excitement you both found yourselves wandering into the mall plaza, coming across the little clothing shop you both shared a love for. “Woah! Look at that!” He made a sudden turn at the window to peer in. “They’ve got a HUGE sale going on, I had no idea! Hey, are you cool if we check it out for a bit?” Of course you wanted to, it was your favourite shop after all, and even better you were hanging out with the best guy on earth! Why not, right? And with an excited nod of your head, you both wandered into the brightly lit store. The place was covered head to toe with bright red sale signs and stickers, designs and styles of new and old. Bright colours plastered the walls and shop floor and there were already a few people browsing different selections of garments. You could tell this would be a fun little detour. Syo was also taken aback in awe by all the styles he’d missed out on due to his busy career. He would definitely find some new items to spice up his wardrobe for the season! “Hey look at these!” He grabbed your attention as he rushed over to the table full of discounted, candy-coloured tees. “You like bright colours right? I bet you’d look awesome in some of these!” You approached his cheshire cat smile as it lured you in, smiling back yourself. “Oh wow you’re right, these do look cool! Maybe we could get matching ones.” You said, giggling as you made it out to be a joke, but Syo blushed lightly at the remark, his face lighting up at the idea. “That’s not a bad idea actually…” Sheepishly responding with a red-cheeked grin. He helped search for your size as well as his own, picking up two sakura pink gradient tees you held yours close as if you were cherishing the memory you would both make here. Even though you had plenty of others from being here several times before, this one just seemed extra special. “Oh I know what would go perfect with this!” Syo spotted some over-shirts in the distance as your mind was busy wandering. “Come on, you’re spacing out again aren’t you? Let’s go look through some more.” He subtly reached his hand out to you, not wanting to draw too much attention. “Here, take my hand. I don’t want you getting yourself lost ok? Just like Alice and the cat, you both ventured further into the wonderland of colourful clothes and accessories, ready and willing to get lost in the excitement the rest of the trip would bring you.
