Rain pours from a stone-grey sky to soak the streets, bystanders compelled to find shelter soon as possible. But, rather than follow the lead of the wise and thoughtful, John stays the course, continues walking through the downpour, even if it means having his coat stick to his back, soaked to the bone.     No matter: he was almost there, a few blocks to go and the odd corner or three and he’d be home safe. That is unless someone approached him on the street, wanting to interact. Probable, given his rotten luck, even with the weather the way it was.

⚓ ∵ ▌█          calloused digits flex, tightening around the grip                         of the gun in his hand. there had been a few calls                         about problems in the homes around the area,                         S was just responding to what was there.

sea blue hues drift slightly as the gun is lowered, tucked away so it’s out of the way, before his gaze turns to the few people here. maybe they knew of something that could help.
