Fire Kings are a group of monsters that triggers their abilities once are destroyed. While that might not seem different to many monsters before them and other archetypes, the build has a wider number of options to meet such requeriments in comparison. Many of their supporting effects allows them to destroy themselves directly from the hand, and combined with staple FIRE options allows them to manage their cards from early to late game while taking advantage of their core strategy. Combined with the fact that the opponent must try to go arround their effect's conditions in most situations, Fire Kings will have the upper hand in most Duels regardless of what is destroying them.
"Fire King Avatar Ganesha" is a recent addition to the archetype able to lead the game right from early turns as well setup some of their best options in an instant. While on the field, "Ganesha" can negate the activation of a monster effect by destroying another FIRE monster in either our field or hand. If "Ganesha" is destroyed in return we will be able to summon a FIRE Beast, Winged Beast, or Beast-Warrior excluding copies of itself. However, the revived target will lose its effects as well self-destruct at the End Phase. While the ability to negate monster effects alone is already powerful, "Ganesha" easily leads the game as soon the Duel starts thanks to two abilities activating most of the Fire Kings' effects in the process.
"Ganesha" gains great support from the archetype and other sources to become available as soon as possible, as even with some drawbacks on the least we might obtain its revival effect in the process. We can start the game by using "Fire King Island", a Field Spell letting us destroy a monster in our hand to look for "Ganesha" in return. Since several Fire Kings are Beast-Warriors, we can also gain assistance from "Fire Formation - Tenki" to search for "Ganesha" upon activation. Some members will also look for this monster while playing arround the archetype's core strategy, like "Fire King Avatar Barong" adding it to our hand during our Standby Phase or "Fire King High Avatar Garunix" if is defeated in battle. On the other hand we have "Onslaught of the Fire Kings" allowing us summon "Ganesha" directly from our Deck, and although will have its effects negated since will be destroyed afterwards we can still obtain its revival effect. In later turns we can depend on cards like "Call of the Haunted" and "Oasis of Dragon Souls" to revive "Ganesha", not only to have its pressence on the field but due the flaws of these Trap Cards we can use them towards removal effects and trigger the Fire Kings' effects in return.
Even if is along on the field, "Ganesha" can easily become a powerful threat for the opponent right from the start of a Duel. Its ability to negate effects not only will counter some of the opponent's best plays, but in the process trigger the abilities of most Fire Kings to obtain additional advantages afterwards. No matter if we destroy a Fire King in our hand or on our field, "Ganesha" can lead us to further setups by destroying members like "Fire King Avatar Yaksha" or copies of "Ganesha" itself, to destroying the self-reviving "Fire King High Avatar Garunix" to clear the opponent's field during the next turn. Keep on mind that "Ganesha" can negate our own monster effects, so if needed we can spend a Fire King to prepare its effects if truly needed. Its revival effect when destroyed can take a similar approach, as although summons a FIRE monster with its effect negates in most cases will target a Fire King able to use its effect(s) once destroyed during the End Phase. This will lead us to the same outcomes as its negation effect, and therefore keeping the momentum of the whole archetype from early to late game.
While Fire Kings was already a strong build despite their small number of options on their own, "Fire King Avatar Ganesha" is most likely to lead the whole archetype on its own if the opponent isn't careful. Negating monster effects is already a strong ability, but triggering Fire King effects in the process will further improve our Deck's performance in the process. The revival effect of "Ganesha" might seem flawed if you aren't familiar with the archetype, but actually prepares other Fire Kings' effects or simply brings them materials for bigger summons of needed. But while "Ganesha" can easily lead the entire archetype from early game destroying Fire Kings in our hand to later turns work along members like "Fire King Avatar Garunix" to abuse their effects together, is clearly a monster heavily dependant of having other Fire Kings available at all times to become a serious threat. But even if we have problems with our opening hand, "Ganesha" is greatly supported and with wonderful sinergy with many cards to shine under many circumstances.
Personal Rating: A+
+ Negates a monster’s effect by destroying a FIRE monster in our hand or field + Revives a FIRE Winged Beast, Beast, or Beast-Warrior when destroyed + Both effects will activate the effect of Fire Kings + Great sinergy with its archetype right from the first turns
- The revived monster will have its effects negated and be destroyed during the End Phase - Heavily dependant of other Fire Kings for its best performance
