“really well written and fluffy (yay) but underage is handled poorly“...”
Huh....I thought the underage was handled pretty well. I adore this story and am looking forward to more from you :)
I didn't notice any issues- too busy loving the story tbh
Aww, thanks, y’all, I really appreciate that.
Mostly, though, I just wonder what that reader wanted that they didn’t get. That’s generally why I come away from an otherwise good story feeling dissatisfied: it’s when I keep anticipating a certain scene/conversation/denouement to come up and it never does. Or if there’s a really clear opportunity for the author to make some kind of point that I keep waiting for... but it doesn’t happen.
I just caught sight of a bookmark I made some time ago about a Harry Potter a/b/o story that was honestly quite excellent... but I kept expecting Harry to collapse in the Great Hall after a terrible public rejection. Like, I was making that scene in my head over and over, and the author seemed to be setting it up... but when it didn’t happen and the angst wrapped up, it was similar to stepping down when the stairs have already ended, you know? Of course, I understand that that’s an absurd way to read a story, but, eh, what can you do, Brain.
