As the sun was setting on another day in the Trancy estate, there was always a chance someone or something would get the really young Alois Trancy upset or as vicious as can get. Any little thing could set him off like a wildfire with an abandoned truck full of gasoline. Today was no exception.
As Claude prepared the dinner for the young Alois, there was a loud thump that was heard right across the hall. For him, sudden noises didn't scare him at all, but since he is working and serving for Alois, he knew it was an issue that had to be attended to. He turned off the stove, placed the food down on a large plate, separating it all, and went over to see what just happened. As he got there, he noticed a trail of blood leading to the upstairs hall, pouring from the columns.
Like a "freak of nature", he jumped from the top of the tall door behind him, and shot to the other side of the hall, as if he was a bullet from a gun that was just fired. Claude landed down and inspected the area and the scene. He walked over to Alois, upset and pointing to them about how "worthless" and "godforsaken" they were. Claude then patted his back and as Alois turned, he was suddenly at ease.
"Allow me, your highness." He said in a somewhat cold tone of voice. Alois was walked over to his room, was given a new set of clothes and sent him to bed soon after, without any arguments. Alois knew that Claude would be there for anything that happens, and that was enough for Alois.
He returned to the scene, lighting the candles that were all around to give off as much light as it could go. He prepared a stretcher for the now dead servant. Claude could smell the hint of death from the body so he had to quickly take care of the issue. But just as he was ready to pick the body up, he notices that he wasn't alone. Something was odd, with the sound of a slash coming from behind him. And there stood a man with shark-like teeth and red hair simply giving a hellish smile, dressed formally and in red.
"It seems I have a guest." Claude said as he turned his body back to see the man. "Just who are you? And how did you come through here?"
