You are in the earth of me, I interpret this as thinking about the dead, those who had a great impact on him

Defeating Galbatorix has taken a toll on him I imagine. After his death, there was still so much work to be done.

The internal struggle that I imagine might be ever present in him during and after the books.

Rereading Eragon for the first time since I was like 10 and good fucking God can you imagine how hard it is to be Arya. Like... you're a 100+ year old elf who is also a warrior princess and you have been ferrying the last free dragon egg in the world back and forth across the country for 15 years. You get kidnapped for like, 9 months, you come back, and the egg has hatched and bonded to a whiny 16 year old boy who is constantly creeping on you and tries to tell you that you need to let him protect you even though you're like 50x stronger than him and you were fighting evil before he was even conceived. On top of that, he's desperately in love with you and obviously that makes you uncomfortable because he's a literal child and you're an ancient powerful being but the little idiot won't take no for an answer. You try to let him down so gently, explain that you're not interested in him because he's a kid and you're an adult but he just keeps going "OK but maybe you could grow to love me eventually :)" which, no, thats not how it works and its also extremely inappropriate and you probably really want to deck him in the face or at least tell him to fuck off but you can't because unfortunately this little kid is the most politically important person in the entire world and the sole hope for the future so you just have to keep tolerating his bullshit and refusing him politely when he asks you out at least once a week. It's a fucking wonder she didn't just snap.
