I keep wondering if ANY of the occultists actually survive the Ritual in Deadlock. More as in, what if the Patrons respectively claim more and more of the occultists souls through the Ritual- so even if you win, and your wish is granted, you don't actually live to see it. It's not just your actions. You ARE apart of the offering.

The kindness of the Patrons are clearly not to be taken at face value. Their lines are at the least manipulative (or more likely, insidious). (Plus, The Doorman is implied to be of a similar ilk to HK/AM and he's not exactly benevolent). They say all the right things to the occultists. Butter them up. So I just wonder what ACTUALLY happens after so so much.
