IT’S EASIER TO LIE THAN TO CRUMBLE AND TELL THE SCREAMING TRUTH. BECAUSE WHO WANTS TO PLACE THEIR HEART INTO A STRANGERS HANDS? IT’S SO MUCH EASIER TO BLEED THAN TO TASTE WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN.

The cavern (of my soul) by Arya Cunningham
My mind is a cavern, unfathomably deep, darker than night
Yet inside lie myriad wonders, beautiful in the absence of light
Magickal power and strength flowing up from deep inside
Even still, I need someone in whom I can confide
Depression, Anxiety, even Post-Traumatic Stress
To put it quite plainly, I'm just a beautiful mess
SHE’S THE CALL YOU MAKE AT THREE AM THAT YOU CAN FEEL YOUR LUNGS BURNING FROM. IT’S EVERYTHING YOU HAVE EVER HATED IN NINE NUMBERS, AND YET SOME PART OF YOU STILL LOVES IT AND YOU CAN’T UNDERSTAND WHY.

THE TASTE OF YOU STILL LINGERS IN THE BACK OF MY MOUTH LIKE A NIGHTMARE THAN NEVER ENDED. .
journals never written, letters never sent.
Often there are stories that are not often told. Not every tale of love starts off perfect, and sometimes it is the imperfect little things that create a bond that is more than anyone could ever really imagine. Sometimes the imprints leave more than anyone ever really could imagine, and sometimes, we often forget, and one whisper is just part of the story. Sometimes the stories about who we love are not the simplest, sometimes it can take years, sometimes it takes only a day, and it takes months to realize what you had is right in front of you. And this story is one that talks about love when it is hidden in plain sight, and you fear it because you’ve been hurt for so long.
