Bea laughed, knocking their foreheads together. Pace’s face was torn halfway between frustration and genuine laughter, and Bea couldn’t help but smile as she looked at him in the dimly lit room, that little bit taller than her. She was certain she wasn’t the only one staring at him right now, but she hardly would have noticed.
“You don’t have to move, Pacey. Just sway back and forth. Remember?” she teased, pushing a hand into the hair at the nape of his neck. “Just don’t step on my dress. It’s white, if you haven’t noticed.”
