im reading all those “eat the rich” posts on this site and while I wholeheartedly agree with them, I cannot help the feeling that this is an exact feeling those who supported communism revolution had and that history is yet again making its full circle. and i just had this random thought - and i hope we all realise it - that communism betrayed those who supported it. aside from all horrible things it came with, like censorship, putting countless people into prisons for nothing, lack of ownership, no basic products in shops etc. it betrayed poor people. it didn’t make all people equal. it didn’t eat the rich. it just changed the group of people that were rich, but they were still, undeniably there. and when I think of all different systems we had as a world I wonder if we actually CAN eat the rich?
