it makes me irrationally angry that you can put numbers in the middle of chemistry names, like pent-2-ene, why WHY???

chemistry i swear you make things complicated on purpose

its not even difficult, just why cant you put the number at the start or the end, why is the freaking middle of the word!!!!!
