When your mother is anti-vax, you’re autistic, and she trusts a six episode web series more than the THREE RESEARCHED POWERPOINTS that you made AND GOT PERFECT GRADES ON.

Irony bonus points: She expects me to do well in the same school that agrees with me, not her.

Also, although she’d ground me if I dared imply, she has made it clear she cares more about the A$ shirt she wears to bed and her Facebook news articles than her own son.

I would fear for my life a bit if it wasn’t for the fact that she still cares about ensuring I don’t have a single thing to use against her. She just cannot fathom the thought of her child being capable of better research than her even when he tool classes on research and she hasn’t...

the most anti-spiritual contemporary scientist has holier view of this earth and the universe as a whole than all new age creationists put together because actually understanding the science of the origins of this earth and life on it paints an image of creation thrust in a character of adaptation, thoroughness, patience, persistence, and mysteriousness, whereas the new age creationist's god is weirdly bound by man made concepts like narrative and the english language. the fact that mankind is millions of years in the making and perfectly adapted to fit our ecological niches in relationship to the land, plants, animals, and even weather around us is infinitely more holy than any religion that only has room for a 6,000 year old earth.

Hey I believe this petition needs more signatures and it's a very important cause. Sesame Street teamed up with Autism Speaks a while ago, causing ASAN to cut ties. Julia was wonderful representation for young kids but now it may change. Please sign if you have a moment.
