I didn't mean to write Oxford, oops! Sorry about that, I meant Cambridge. :) I'm hoping to study law and the subject I'm most worried about getting a B in is Spanish (due to how much I don't like speaking exams aha) it's not likely that I will get a B though (I'm predicted 6A* and 4As) but I'm quite a worrier so want to be assured for whatever case! :)

Haha okay, no worries! Yeah it’s certainly not the end of the world. Obviously better if you don’t but it can be overcome if needs be, especially if you’re doing AS’s. If you aren’t it’s still not the end of the world as Law doesn’t have all that much to do with Spanish but still, better to not have to overcome anything!

It's unlikely I'll get 7+ A*s at GCSE but if I get a few (3-5/6 maybe?) and do well enough in my AS exams, is there a chance of being accepted by Cam? I want to apply to a Teir 2 college, so would I get pooled, assuming I make it past interview?

Yes of course, the issue is mainly if you’re not doing AS’s. But otherwise not a massive deal if you crank on AS’s.

Re AS revision, if you have them, use your frees at school effectively! I would use them to do my homework and them make notes for revision, so when I went home from school I didn't have much work, and when exam time came most of my notes were done. If you don't have frees, then I would recommend to do a couple of hours after school making notes. It'll just make it so much easier than doing everything frantically in Easter.

During ur AS's, would u revise everyday when you came back from school? What was your revision plan?

Hey so I don't know if you answer questions like these or not but I'd really love to go to Cambridge university and I don't know if my grades are up to scratch. I got 90% or up in all my as levels and I'm predicted As-A*s but my GCSEs weren't too good; I got two As, 3 A*s a B in maths and a CC in double science and I've been getting mixed reviews as to whether or not they'd be good enough and I was wondering what your opinion was. Sorry if I've babbled, I love your blog by the way and thank youx

Yes, that’s absolutely fine :) GCSEs don’t matter a huge amount, and if you’ve got 90%+ in ASs then that’s perfect :)

hello, when did you start revising for your AS exams, i really need to feel more motivated to do more work.... :(

I started revising a few weeks before study leave, so probably March time? If you need to motivate yourself, I’m a big fan of the ‘bribe yourself’ method - e.g. if I do this thing then I’m allowed to watch this tv show for half an hour etc etc

Fairly early I think, but not really intensely until a few weeks before study leave :)

No, I did absolutely terribly in my mocks (I did at GCSE as well!). Like I got Us and Es in some of my mocks!
