Best book you've read so far in 2024: this is a tough one because i've read quite some 5-stars this year but probably The Book That Wouldn't Burn <3 reading the sequel rn

Best sequel you've read so far in 2024: not the second book but i'll count 'later installment' as a sequel because i really want to note that Tiamat's Wrath is the best book in the entire Expanse series! Teresa is such a breath of fresh air for the narrative

New release you haven't read yet but want to: Mirrored Heavens by Rebecca Roanhorse!!

Most anticipated release for the second half of the year: Death at Morning House,, i am seated for any Maureen Johnson mystery book

Biggest surprise: wasn't sure I was still into the Shades of Magic universe, but The Fragile Threads of Power blew me away

Favorite new author (debut or new to you): Megan O'Keefe, i became obsessed with her series The Devoured Worlds this year. also Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah's debut Chain-Gang All-Stars is amazing

Newest fictional crush: don't really have any crushes but Sigrud from the Divine Cities series has a special place in my heart. and i liked Chono from These Burning Stars a lot

Book that made you cry: Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow

Most beautiful book you've bought so far this year (or received): High Vaultage by Chris and Jen Sugden is beautiful, looove the colours <3
