The Calm Before the Storm

Feitan enters Bath and Body Works, the store next to Victoria’s Secret, and looks around for the person who is responsible for emitting a strong bloodlust. There a few people shopping and an employee standing behind the check-out counter. The employee stares at him as he walks to the back of the store quietly.

Phinks emerges from the backroom and cracks his knuckles before searching around the store for fifteen minutes for the killer. He doesn’t really know if it’s the killer or not. The only thing he knows is that they want to fight. Maybe not a member in the Troupe, but someone in the store.

“Did you find them?” Phinks asks Feitan, walking over to him with his fists clenched.

Feitan shakes his head. “They probably left when they couldn’t find a worthy opponent to kill.” He checks the clock on the wall and then the entrance. A few people walk past chatting loudly. “We should probably leave for the Troupe meeting. The boss hates it when we are late.”

“I’ll tell him about the killer,” Phinks says before exiting the store.

oh really?? i am by no means an expert in figures so is it normal to pay several hundreds ($300-$800) for garage kits? geez

Phinks and Feitan

“Should we search Victoria’s Secret or Walgreens?” Feitan asks Phinks, looking at a map on a flat screen TV. Victoria’s Secret is on the third floor and Walgreens is on the fifth floor. The nearest elevator is ten minutes away, next to a toy store. “Or do you want to split up?”

“Splitting up is better,” Phinks says, looking at the map. He points to Victoria’s Secret. “I’ll go here. You go to Walgreens.”

Feitan shakes his head. “Nope. I’m going to Victoria’s Secret.”

“How about we flip a coin?” Phinks takes the Troupe coin out of his pocket and shows it to Feitan. “I’m heads and you are tails.”

“Fine. Flip the coin.”

Phinks flips the coin and it lands on tails. Feitan snickers as he walks away to the elevator. Phinks follows behind, cursing underneath his breath because he really wants to steal some lingerie and wear it for his date later in the week.

In the distance, a person wearing a cat mask, trench coat, and boots, stares at the Troupe members heading toward the elevator quietly. They reach their hand inside their coat pocket and grip the handle of a Ben’s knife and chuckle. The hunting game has started.
