With this Asado Burger, you can taste the flavors of an Argentine grill. Along with the bright flavors of chimichurri sauce, it has the rich taste of grilled beef and is served on a perfectly toasted bun. It's a tasty mix of traditional Argentine barbecue and a burger that will make your mouth water.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 cup chimichurri sauce. 4 burger buns. 4 slices provolone cheese. 1 red onion, thinly sliced. 1 tomato, sliced. Lettuce leaves. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Shape the ground beef into 4 burger patties that are all the same size. Add salt and pepper to each patty. Put the burger patties on the grill and cook them for four to five minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if you like them more done. Add a slice of provolone cheese to each patty and let it melt in the last minute of grilling. Heat up the grill and toast the burger buns until they are just barely golden while the burgers are cooking. Spread chimichurri sauce on the bottom half of each bun before putting the burgers together. On top of the chimichurri sauce, put a lettuce leaf. Then, add the cooked burger patty with melted cheese. On top of the patty, put slices of tomato and red onion. To finish the burger, put the top half of the bun on top of the assembled ingredients. If you want, you can serve the Asado Burger hot with extra chimichurri sauce on the side.
