Hove Lake was quiet enough and far away enough that Julia sometimes liked to come here to escape from reality. It was almost an haven from the panicked vibe that the town now had. However, when she came to visit Asa, fishing had not been on her list of relaxing things to do. “Asa - this is so stupid. There hasn’t been a single bite in almost two hours!” Julia huffed, barely holding onto the fishing pole in her hand as they fished for fun. Ugh, she shuddered. “When you invited me over, I thought maybe we’ll just swim in the lake or I don’t know, go for a walk or something.”
