We’ve Asked Bandai’s Tamagotchi Product Development for Tamagotchi Connection 20th Anniversary Melon Soda Shell Globally

We were so excited to attend the grand opening of the very first Bandai Namco store in North America located in the American Dream Mall in New Jersey on May 31st, 2024! We got to not only experience the new store opening, but also to meet with Bandai employees during press hours before the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Asaki Murakami who works on the Tamagotchi Product Development team was an incredible resource to speak with. She has so much Tamagotchi knowledge, and was instrumental on the shell design of not only the Tamagotchi Original, but the Tamagotchi Connection 20th Anniversary. We’ve heard the community loud and clear, they like the Tamagotchi Connection 20th Anniversary shells over in Japan, especially Melon Soda (we must have mentioned it over 10 times). Let’s be honest, we love the melon soda shell too. When speaking with Asaki we mentioned several times that the global market admires and appreciates some of the shells released in Japan, especially melon soda!

Asaki mentioned that Japan market admires the shells released globally, and that the global market admires the shells released in Japan, which was very surprising! Tamagotchi Connection 20th Anniversary shells will be upset constantly, similar to the Tamagotchi Original 20th Anniversary lineup, so there might just be a chance that we could see a shell from Japan such as melon soda globally! Asaki really appreciated this insight and mentioned it's a good study.

Hopefully this suggestion is taken seriously and comes to fruition. Imagine a Tamagotchi Connection 20th Anniversary melon soda shell being released globally? Iconic! That very well could be our impact, and if so, we’ll gladly accept your thank yous. Fingers crossed! #melonsodagate

“Ramen Akaneko” The Theme Song, First Promo

The official website unveiled the first promotional video and theme song for Angyaman's Ramen Akaneko (Red Cat Ramen) manga adaptation. The 28 TBS stations will air the anime's premiere on July 4 at 11:56 p.m.
