I really want to know the asarakam’s abilities
For what it's worth, the Asarakam/Descendents of the Dragons/Whatever live for around 200 years. That doesn't necessarily indicate the lifespan of the warriors but I think it's worth noting.
Oh yes! Please note.
(I would assume this would also have an effect on our warriors. I want to believe that they can pass away due to “”“”old age”“”” and feel like such is suggested.)
I've been thinking about this for a long time. You know how Priscilla is deemed as the "strongest" monster in the world right? Well what about those Dragon things and those other things that were found in the Organization(The big thingy and the thingy that looked like hanging meat)? Aren't they stronger than Awakened beings since they are full monster and not just a quarter like Awakened beings are? I'm confused..
(SPOILERS) Okie dokie, here we go:
Firstly, Priscilla isn't deemed the strongest monster "in the world." By the characters, she is assumed to be the strongest creature in the warriors' history. Notably stronger than an Abyssal One, which is unheard of.
Those who deem Priscilla the strongest are unaware of Teresa's existence.
If they deem her the strongest creature in the world, they are also obviously unaware of the Dragonkin/Asarakam.
Regarding the Dragonkin: Awakened Beings are just as strong as the Asarakam.
It obviously has nothing to do with being a "full monster" because technically Awakened Beings are also "full monsters" devoid of humanity. And if we used that logic, yoma should be much more powerful than Claymores (half-yoma half-human) and perhaps on par with Awakened Beings (awakened half-yoma half-human), since yoma are the fusion of both Asarakam forms plus a human form.
Also, if Awakened Beings weren't equal to the Dragon Descendants, they wouldn't take half-human half-yoma warriors, on the brink of awakening, out to the mainland to engage in battle.
To quote Miria from Chapter 79, in regard to "a weapon that allows a human to turn into a monster" a.k.a Awakened Beings:
"But because these weapons are too powerful, they often wiped out their own army... the research has been left on a small island away from the greater land."
And from Chapter 80:
"Thanks to those Awakeneds' battle performance, that marked the birth of a new kind of monster, capable of battling the dragons' descendants on equal terms."
Hope that clears up any confusion. I feel like I'm quoting the Bible.
