There's the criticism thing, but it's also because he's one of the creators, he seems to think he has free reign to talk shit about (and often to) fans of his work.  The latest is related to a DA confessions blog's post about the DA2 sexuality system. "I do not believe any player has a right to romance whoever they like with whatever character they happen to be playing."  It's not about having a right to romance any NPC with any PC, it's about having choice over your character's story. Fandom creates such a fantastic space for people to interact and form friendships, but that happens (especially in the Bioware fandoms) through player choice and the differences that occur in PC's stories. Not every lesbian, bi or queer* woman wants to romance the flirty pirate or the blushing, virginal elf. There's a horrendous amount of stereotyping with non-heteronormative relationships and holy shit, it bothers the fuck out of me. Some of us want our Aveline. Some of us want Morrigan, or Wynne. I don't want to get into the struggles of LGBTQ* men right now because I'm not one of them, and I don't have any right to speak for them in this situation, and I could write an essay about the problems with the ME romances but they aren't relevant here.  I'm totally fucking done with his attempts to play god with the DA fandom. I sure as hell don't want his fucking interaction, for sure.

I always felt like DAO had much more replayability than DA2 and I justify this line of thinking with the fact that I have never finished DA2 and I've finished DAO multiple times

i think it's replayability would come for how much choice you get, but for me the gameplay actually kills the replay value because it don't want to do it again

and i used cheats

if i had to play the game and do combat vanilla... i wouldn't have finished it lol
