I can see Neia being one of Vivians favorites for 2 reasons. 1 She definitely meets the queen’s qualifications, and 2 the way you are with your OCs I wouldn’t put it past you to give someone as innocent as Neia to someone as awful as Vivian😈

FIRST WORK DAY OF 2ND JOB WAS GREAT.

Let me tell u a thing.

I was thrown on registers first thing , shadowing various employees and generally constantly being thrown up to ring things through myself, hands on.

SURELY i'd just get a bunch of regular purchases on this clearly regular day. Right?

Nope here's what happened!

LEARNED that non-managers do returns and exchanges too (unlike my 1st job) and ended up having...

3 returns

2 exchanges

1 return that needed me to do purchase lookups for a customer who didn't have the reciept

1 coupon adjustment (which involved returning everything, relogging in and doing it as a purchase)

being stuck by myself trying to figure out what to do with a copies machine purchase which i was NOT warned about beforehand

and fumbling around tryin to find the barcode on a giant printer box and then having to carry it out to a car post purchase.

Remembering my password awkwardly in front of a customer to sign into my own register.

AND general shenanigans all in a 5 hour shift.

And ya know what? I enjoyed it. Time flew and i honestly appreciate so much was thrown at me in the first day rather than learning all of these surprises slowly.

The staff there is really fun and i got a lot of good impressions and generally funny and lighthearted people. I'm laughing cause I told two of them i had been working for 7 years and one was like "What the hell, how old are you?" "26." "I THOUGHT YOU WERE 20ISH SAYING YOU WERE WORKING SINCE 14 OR SOMETHING". Amazing, i still confuse people with my age.  Along with that, i got a cool Manager who self proclaims he has no time for drama in his team and he's confident i have the personality needed to mesh well and continue that trend. With people like this im more than willing to do my best for them and make the job easier for everyone.

I got next weeks schedule and i cannot be more excited, between both jobs i have i'm finally doin it; finally making FULL. TIME. HOURS.

I feel so adult now. Money doesn't determine my worth, trust me, i know that for sure, but its the ability that's helping me: the ability to genuinely take care of myself now has boosted my spirits/confidence so much. I feel like i have some control over things now, like I'm going somewhere again. It took me years to get to this but... all that wait was worth it. For now, since i'm working full timeish hours, I shall be putting art practice on the backburner: and shifting my focus into studying the stock market again. I was never sure which to focus on more but fate's clearly put me back into a position to invest. So i'm going for it. I'm not going to rest content with just 2 jobs. HAH.

As if my day wasn't good enough: mom told me after coming off from work today, that grandma is actually in the best shape she's seen her in in -months- after emergency treatment at a new hospital. Sure grandma was complaining how the nurses didn't give her that nice cold water the other nursing home did. But the fact that she was in a good enough condition TO complain like that is amazing.

Here's to better days going forward. There's still some issues in my life which have to be conquered, but hey, here's to the victories. Not just mine, but for your better days too, which I'll be praying comes soon.
