Y’all I decided to finally go swimming again for the first time, and in a new space too, and in my home town. I was so anxious about it and had been asking my parents all the potential questions so I could be mentally prepared. No moment like the present, let’s go.

So then I get there and I’m confused about the parking situation and the different parking signs, but I park in the only spot that makes sense (and one of the very few open spots). I text my mom about the parking and it’s a very frustrating conversation and I’m unpleasant because I’m so fcking stressed and thought I had already asked about parking but I guess it was a while back and can’t remember.

And then I finally get confirmation that I’m parked in the right section and go in. I ask to buy a pack of 10 passes, he says ok but you can’t go swim tonight because it’s full 😑😑😑 it’s full every wednesday because there’s a class at the same time.

But he can still sell me the passes so I have them next time. Asks me how I want to pay: I say credit. Oh they don’t take credit, cash or debit only 😑😑😑 and I don’t like bringing my whole wallet into locker rooms, I just brought my credit card and my drivers license.

Guess I wasn’t gonna be swimming anyways 😑
