"Arthurs strangely fond of the boy" Morgana so many things wrong with that statement:

A) Arthur is so beyond fond it’s not even funny, like these two idiots have sworn an eternal oath of mutual self sacrifice for each other and the entire kingdom knows it.

B)  you act as if you didn’t once trust Merlin more than anyone else in your life (you told him about your magic, because you knew he helped the druid boy and his bff was magic and you trusted him) so don't act like you weren't fond of him yourself.

C) strangely? Literally everyone except Uther and the villains are fond of Merlin, hell even half the villains seem to like him. The boy is endearing as hell, everyone is fond of him INCLUDING A
