so I really liked the thought of naturally purple hair for some strange unidentifiable reason, but if we're playing "Canon Says"...
vaguely conflicting headcanon time;
Headcanon Randy dyed his hair for Ace Awareness Week (Theresa too)
-Also; headcanon Randy is secretly Ace (or doesn't know... imagine Randy being convinced he's "broken"... or should I keep my angst strictly within Phandom perimeters?)
Headcanon he and Howard made a bet that loser had to dye their hair purple
-he hated it at first, but he got so many complements and accidentally started a small trend
Headcanon Randy tried green first, but it got all over his face (making him look sick) and his hair was unevenly colored so it looked like literal vomit.
Headcanon Howard helps him dye the roots like... twice a month? (I dunno how fast hair grows...)
Headcanon Randy was born in February and felt like dying his hair to match his birthstone (amethyst). he literally went to the store to find a dye labeled "amethyst" but it was made to go on pre-bleached hair (which he didn't know) so the shade's a bit off.
Headcanon his moms took him to a gay pride parade when he was little, and a few people colored up like a rainbow to walk in a line and randy got colored purple. he liked the color so much he begged his moms to let him keep his hair that color.
