I would argue that dragons in general should be the symbol for the Ace spectrum, then different kinds have different kinds of dragons. This is based off of how every asexual person I have ever met loves dragons, myself included. And the great thing about dragons is there are lots of types to go around.
I myself am biromantic demisexual and have always had a strong love of dragons, so that (and the alliteration) is why I went for it. I also figured that since dragons usually stick with a singular prince or princess, and there’s usually a history building between them before and after, i.e., a strong emotional connection.
I know other asexuals have also been really taken with having Sirens for their creature/symbol, with the reasoning that Sirens don’t lure you in with the promise of sex/lust, but by singing about whatever it is that you want most, which yes, could be a person, but it could also be only having that person’s romantic love and not their sexual love, or heck, they could even be singing about a favorite food. Sex is not the deciding factor here, therefore, Asexuals get Sirens. Again, this is only my take on it!
