had this been a good idea? no. but did hestia regret it? absolutely not. unicorns, she was studying those majestic animals on Care for Magical Creatures, but her learning was obviously not complete, since there were not actual unicorns on that class. she had pondered a whole week on whether this was a good idea, but at the end of the day there were more pros than cons on her plan, so at night she made sure everyone was asleep and made her way to the Forbidden Forest.

she walked and walked, making sure to not make any stupid mistake that would kill her or show her whereabouts to whatever creatures lurked around here. she sighed, if only she was an animagus yet, this would be way easier. but alas, she still had the leaf of a mandrake under her tongue, so one month to go.

suddenly, hestia heard something behind her, too close to her for her to have time to come up with a plan. “ lumos ! ” she pointed her wand at the intruder, only to find the confused face of one of the students.
