So do you ship Asgore with anyone? I ask because most of the fandom are jerks who treat Asgore as a leper ( when they are not actively treating the poor sad dad like a punching bag). They seem to leave him all alone and treat all his romances as past events, given that Toriel hates his guts (albeit for a hypocritical reason, IMHO) and Gaster is dead (erased from time no less). Do you have any ship for Asgore in the present?

Anyone I ship Asgore with unfortunately already in a relationship or currently floating in the fucking void. (Alphys and Gaster) Poor dude he’s so nice and deserves love and another chance. I ship him with Happiness tbh. He’s made mistakes and he regrets those mistakes and deals with those mistakes every day and tries to be a better person despite his fears and that’s kinda admirable ya know? He’s not a bad guy, he’s practically Undyne’s father for gosh sakes! She loves him and he trained her and cares about her a lot.

There’s only one person I can say I kinda ship Asgore with that’s alive, and it’s kind of a crack ship; and that’s Grillby

Asgore is now Single-Verse Multiship

He is Polyamorous Demisexual. This means, he can have multiple ships, no multiple verses, no workarounds. Just a simple, polyamorous relationship.

He will be able to have multiple romantic partners, and they will all be able to know who is with him. He will be completely open and honest. This does not mean he is not devoted. Each one will get as much love as he can give them.

In fact if they want, they can even be with others. As long as he gets his fair share of love from them.

Now, here’s the trick. Asgore’s devotion makes it difficult to start a new relationship himself. So, for anyone who wants to be with him, you must confess your feelings first, so he can be ready to admit he returns them. This must be done by anyone and everyone who wants to be a romantic partner.

If any individual is ever curious about who his partners are, all they need to do is ask...the relationships will mostly be romantic. And only sometimes be sexual...for the sexual part to happen, the relationship needs to develop strongly. With some characters it might be easier to reach that point.

And while he won’t be able to openly admit he feels something. He will show some basic sings. He will be extra ‘fluffy’ with those he has something for. Think of it as the echoes of his feelings getting through. He’ll want to be close to them, talk more, cuddle, compliment a lot. But it’s unlikely he’ll do things like kiss, or get real handsy. [in short, he’ll flirt in his own way]
