Surprise (angsty) headcanon!
Asha actually used to love rain. It wasn’t until she was taken from her home that she grew to hate it, as it was pouring that day. Now it just serves as a constant reminder.
On Asha's appearance...

As a child, Asha was always rather thin. Food was scarce as her family was poor and so she was used to eating very little. Often times she’d gain cuts and bruises from climbing and falling various trees (and occasionally sitting on the roof of her house). Small scars still cover her arms and legs.
When she got to the island is when things got worse. There, she was very malnourished, and recieved many more scars. A cluster of large, ugly lines—no doubt left from a very large knife— lay over her right ribs, a burn scar sits over her left shoulder blade, cigarette burns reach midway up her arms (often covered by bangles), another long, jagged line reahes from her abdomen to the outside of her left thigh, and another small scar sits on her left temple— a souvenir she recieved during her escape.
Since joining the circus, she’s gained some weight— a good bit of it being muscle due to her training as an aerialist— though it does tend to fluctuate. while she leans a little more on the heavier side of healthy, her silks and the vast amount of walking she does keeps her in shape and she does eat relatively healthy….unless ice cream is involved.
Often times, dark circles will show beneath her eyes, revealing lack of sleep. Her make-up outside of her performance is hardly noticable most times, as she prefers a more natural look, but over all she does her best to appear presentable.

Hair
Asha's hair is fairly long, almost to her waist. It grows fairly quick, but even so, she really prefers to keep it long. She doesn't often style it, usually just opting to let it be as it is, as brushing it would turn her curls into a frizzy mess. If it's really that bad, she'll braid it, and on a few occasions she'll straighten it. She's never dyed it, leaving it her natural black.
Skin
Her skin's a light tan, though it can get fairly dark due to her time spent outside. She runs fairly warm, though anything below 70 degrees is liable to have her pouting and complaining about the cold. She blushes fairly easily. While smooth, it's riddled with scars-- something that makes her rather self-conscious. She does her best to cover them up most of the time.
Eyes
Her eyes are a fairly average size, and often alert. Dark brown in color, and very expressive, her eyes make her a bit of an open book, to those that know her. When she's avoiding sleep, as she often does, dark circles often form, and they become more heavy-lidded as she struggles to keep them open for periods of time.
