1. A little bio on your Hunter, what’s their name, height, pronouns, etc.?

Name: Ashaila LeVane

Age: Unsure tells people she is 28

Height: 5'8

Pronoun: She/Her.

Birthday: Unknown ( her mom.didnt leave her any family or paperwork to say when she was born and she was really young when she passed. Also she doesnt really care.)

Personality Type: INFJ (Obviously)

Vices: Cigarettes

Favorite flower: Peony

Hair: Lavender

Eyes: Grey

Pets: Dire Wolf named Edgar.

2. Who is your Hunter romancing?

Finnzra

3. Who accompanied your Hunter to the Lunar Festival? Did they enjoy it?

Ezra and she did. She loves to go dancing and besides who wouldn't have a good tome with such an enchanting partner. (Also she had fun with Finn. That beach scene was 👍💛)

4. Did your Hunter specialize in anything?

Demonology and Alchemy. She also dabble in Botany. She just really likes plants.

5. What is your Hunter’s preferred weapon/fighting style?

Katana or Jian. She isn't a brawler. She is in and out as quick as possible so she can move on. She also has a revolver and crossbow she brings out for special occasions.

6. Where was your Hunter before they were transferred to Lunaris?

I imagine some form of desert town. Mostly because I think the idea of her still finding sand funny. I suck at naming cities.

7. Does your Hunter come from Eskira or somewhere else?

Somewhere else. I like the idea of a port city on a different content. When I started really fleshing her out I was watching Disneys huntchback so I have he based in somewhere like Paris or Val Royaeux from Dragon age. Though she grew up by the docks because I just enjoy creating spunky street urchins.

8. Does your Hunter have any family?

Her parents are Mom died and her Dad left before she was bor. But she does have some adoptee siblings.

9. How did your Hunter initially feel about being transferred to Lunaris?

Meh. She is used to being moved around every few months though this the first time her old enforcer didn't come with her.

It's an odd little town full of beautiful people and secrets. Outside of that. No.

Fresh Start

A background story for my hunter Ashaila and her brother Cornelius because I love them and haven't written anything with the in game characters that I like yet so..... -Insert Fanfiction Disclaimer here-

It was a cold morning in in Paree the night they left, the sun not high enough in the sky to chase the stars away quite yet.  The young hunter reached down to her side, her fingers tangling in the soft fur of her companion as she had a million times since she found him abandoned over ten years ago.

Though Ashaila would never admit it, she had never really like sailing. Being by the ocean, sure. Quick trips out to the island she could handle but she always had trouble with anything longer than a few hours and the trip to Eskria would take months and she couldn’t shake her nerves.

Fight a horde of angry demons. Yes. Spend time locked on a boat in the middle of the ocean with no escape. No.

The lavender haired hunter ran her fingers through her chin length curls as she tried to shake the fear from her mind. Her finger tangling tighter in her dire wolfs fur as they waited for the vessel to start boarding. She looked up as a warm hand clamped down on her shoulder.

“You doing alright there, sister?” Cornelius asked his dark brown eyes dancing with amusement at his usually unshakable sister.  “Should we postpone our transfer so you can work out you think with boats?” She snorted in reply pushing his hand away as he began laughing.

    “Shut up, or should I remind you about the spider incident.” She teased back, a small smile finding her lips at the memory of her 6’7 sibling screaming in terror as a corpse of a creature they had slung turned into a mass of tiny arachnids. He stopped laughing at that, running a hand through short tight coiled hair and down hi face to massage his beard.

    “That’s mean Ashes?” He said putting his ebony hand on her tanned shoulder. “I don’t recall saying turn about was fair play.”

    “Well you know what they say. All is fair in irrational fears and war.” She replied dryly rolling her eyes. Turning grey eyes to the crowd to see if she could find their enforcer.

    “I do recall hearing that saying, yes.” He said laughing at her joke and she was sure it was only partly pity.  They stopped after a moment, the two standing quietly as the sun peaked over the horizon, painting the sky with deep reds and oranges.

    “Are you ready for this?” Ashaila asked pulling the two from their thoughts. She had been so ready to leave this city, this country for the past few weeks since the decision had finally been approved by the enforcers. A lot had happened here since she graduated the academy 3 years prior. Thousands of creatures, a magical plague, the fratricide of one sibling and the imprisonment of the other. She had built a home here,found her sibling and built her small strange little family,  thought she might have found love in arms that were far to warm. She knew that now, the bad outweighed the good and that she had to move on but there was a small part of her that held doubt.

    Cornelius turned his eyes to the horizon, pausing for a moment before her answered. “Yes. The only thing holding me here is you. Now that Xavier.” He paused a moment at the mentioned of their lost sibling, their life torn away from them before either of the hunters could arrive. Murdered by someone they trusted. She took his hand in hers a squeezed as he shook off the memory. “Now that Xavier is dead and Marius is locked up the only things holding me here is you, Ashes. This place has felt haunted for a long time, I think after everything, a fresh start is exactly what we need.”  He smiled then and she couldn’t help the small upturn of her own lips at the sight.

    The hunter turned her eyes to the sky, her smile widening as Jax, Cornelius falcon flew overhead, keeping watch as he always had.

    “A fresh start, huh.” She muttered more to herself then to her brother. “I think that sounds perfect.”
