I stand with those who are not handed everything on a silver spoon their entire lives. As a white person you can sit back and be a hypocritical moron all you want and speak your opinion on what’s happening but it’s truly Irrelevant unless you’ve walked a day in their shoes. As a female, I know what it’s like to not be given the same chances in life as men, to be underestimated and treated like 2nd best as it’s still very much a “mans world” that being said I CAN NOT understand what it’s like to be an African American in this country today, and I would never be an ass and try. I can say a few years ago when I was dating someone of color I was blown away at the comments I received.. I’ve never been one to see color so I didn’t understand everyone’s issue. “What would your parents think if you bought him home?” ... seriously ?! And that was the G rated version of the comments I received. We all need to stop letting rich government and such control our lives. Please, I’m begging my fellow “white” people to stand with your black brothers and sisters.... try and understand their pain instead of attack and insult. Yes maybe setting small business on fire is an irrational emotional reaction.. but again if you saw everyday what a lot of them do, you would be fed up too. Again, if George was someone I loved and cared about and saw that image flash everywhere.. I’d probably set shit on fire too. I will say without a shadow of a doubt that has NOTHING Been done, those cops would have gotten a slap on the wrist and gone back to life as usual while these horrible acts continued to happen.. so please stop being apart of the PROBLEM BY JUDGING and be PRODUCTIVE and HELP your fellow Americans. State of wth

I taught to make a difference. I taught history because I hoped I could entice enough people to render the mistakes of their people's pasts inadequate, insufficient, null and void. I stopped to save myself, and now realize the great mistake that may have been. Doors are closing and the inherent catalyst within wonders if this is because those majorities seeking escape are browner than the minority making the decisions, or if it's something as simple to explain as sustainability? Whichever side you fall on, and I truly and sadly believe I no longer care, it can be agreed or argued that EVERY poor decision is no more than newly sprouting heads from the same body. How long before we stop cutting off the one posing immediate danger before we realize that that hydra must be stricken at its heart? This fight grows tiring, especially in the gasping final breaths of a turbulent past founded by lost explorers, glorified pirates, political and religious refugees, kidnapped POWs, and businessmen displacing unsuspecting indigenous people, creatures and land to make way for the manifest destiny supported by Locke's bastardized words, which have reached out to hypnotize generations of the spoiled, entitled and out of touch. You may not care either and I'm just spouting off nonsense, but I'm tired of being afraid to hear the latest news and know that every effort I give when out in my community, or talking to the children in my life about their future, that the world is a lot less welcoming than it was 20, 35, 57 years ago and a sadder truth has never been realized for anyone.

Everyone is going to talk about this and they should as this is going to go down in history. I have never felt so disappointed in my entire life and I'm stunned to know that I live in a country with an insane amount of people who believe in all of Trump's policies/beliefs. If you're a Trump supporter, I'm sorry but please unfollow me. Don't try to fight me with this, just unfollow me if you're a Trump supporter. I'm so stunned that I'm awake at this ungodly hour. But please know that this is just the start of our battle. Don't sit down and watch him take everything away. Get up, educate yourself, be aware, and start participating.
