Ashley looked down at his mechanical hand- he had busted the primarily metal one while fighting with Candyman, so now he has to use the one that Pablo had made him- but he's not complaining. After all, it did have a wider range of motion, it just wasn't as strong since it was made on the spot. Wiggling his fingers, he reminisced over the few fights he had had with three people over the past few days. Two out of the the three having ending morbidly for the others. Ashley was on break out back DQ.
Sam couldn’t help himself, not really. The smell of ice cream was thick in the air, he could slip his tongue out and feel the sugar fractals melt on his taste buds. So he really couldn’t be blamed for his racoonish tendencies—smell food, find food—it was a calling almost older than he was.
Choosing not to enter through the front and risk spooking anyone, instead he rounded the back in hopes that the door was unattended. But of course, upon seeing a man (or was it a robot?) at the back Sam knew the jig was up.
He’d have to ask.
Waddling over, the small boy made sure that his little booties made as much noise as possible lest he frighten the man. “Hullo. Hullo!” Not his most suave greeting but Sam was on a mission and finesse could come later.

Ash already has issues letting people in to his life (let alone get close to him), so everyone he’s meeting as of recently has really been digging that feeling in to his back. In the past, and even recently, everyone he meets or gets close to suffers greatly or dies because they got involved in his life. This already ,makes him feel generally horrible on the side, but when he knows hes the cause of someone hurting it makes him feel worse, because he has this fear that if he opens up again, that person will pay the price. Primarily by the hands of a deadite. In Herbert’s case, we have Ash who is more concerned with Herb’s happiness than his own. This causes him to try and push out Herb in relation to his fear that Herbert will die. He’s human, no special powers, no strength, no fighting skills. Ash in turn decides that locking him out to an extent would be the best decision- besides, Herbert’s already making tons of new friends! In no time at all, he’ll forget about Ash, he’s sure of it. Even though deep down Ash really doesn’t feel like this is the right choice, his brain overrides his heart for once (a magical phenomenon) and he manages to not fully open up to Dr. West.
When @ghostface-at-dairy-queen and @damienworksatjimmyjohns set up a date for him, without consulting him first, his relationship with them and Herbert is damaged. He felt betrayed by their actions, even though he knew they were just trying to help. He’s going to hold some resentment for some time until he smooths things over with each of them.

@herbertwestataandw gave me the silent treatment for a week! It was just a joke, yeesh!
