Bedsprings creaked as Hanji sank onto her bed, staring down at the notebook she held loosely on her lap. Well-worn and overflowing with papers tucked between the pages, it had clearly been used often over the years. It was just one of many such books, all of them sitting stacked high in Hanji's office.

But she couldn't read them, not right now. She didn't even want to look at them, but they were everywhere.

Hanji's vision blurred behind her glasses, but she made no move to clear her eyes. The tears came slowly at first, then she hunched over, fingernails digging into the cracked leather of her notebook as she began sobbing.

5 (additional) things I like about myself:

1. I like my hair; it is very thick and I have not dyed it in ages, so it is very healthy, too. I also have a really unique style, and I really like using my hair to express my personality!

2. My taste in music... okay, I understand that, hey, of course everyone likes their taste in music, that is why it is called their taste.. but I think that I have a good ear for quality music. My friends will describe each other based on the genre they most like (emo, gangster, christian...) and they always describe my music preference as "just good."

3. I can put on a number of different accents rather convincingly.

4. I am a good listener... probably from years of listening to the ranting of older siblings.

5. I am a good driver - I've been driving since I was 14, and in all weather conditions. (black ice... blah)

The voice was fading in and out of her mind, she turned her head and felt a searing pain start from the back and move forward toward her eyes that made them difficult to keep open, “Heichou..?” she asked groggily. 

Where am I again? 

She worked to move her hands but felt no response, it was as if her body was not there anymore. She tried to move her head down to disprove this assumption but was not able to do so.
